Overview:
MVP Recruitment is partnering with a respected Assisted Living Community near Newport, Rhode Island, to find an experienced RN Assisted Living Director to oversee the day-to-day healthcare operations of the facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled healthcare professional who is passionate about providing quality care and leading a compassionate team.
Position Summary:
The RN Assisted Living Director is responsible for managing all aspects of healthcare operations, ensuring residents receive high-quality care in a safe, dignified environment. You will supervise nursing services, ensure compliance with all regulations, and support the community in maintaining the highest standard of care as residents’ healthcare needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Oversight: Supervise and manage staff, including hiring, orientation, and training new team members.

Consultation & Coordination: Work with external services to coordinate resident care, ensuring all healthcare needs are met.

Schedule Management: Develop and oversee staff schedules to ensure efficient coverage.

Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure operations comply with all regulations and facility standards. Conduct investigations and generate reports in collaboration with the Executive Director.

Care Plan Management: Formulate and update Service Care Plans as necessary to address resident needs.

Infection Control: Monitor infection control programs and collaborate with the Infection Preventionist.

Resident Care & Education: Provide direct care as needed and offer ongoing training for staff on Alzheimer’s/Dementia care.
Qualifications:

Education: Registered Nurse (RN) with a graduate degree from an accredited program.

License: Current RN license in Rhode Island.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a clinical setting (skilled nursing, rehab, assisted living, or home health care).

Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage a team effectively and provide high-quality patient care.
