MVP Recruitment is actively seeking an experienced Infection Prevention RN for a full-time opportunity with a highly respected acute care hospital in the Cape Cod region.

This critical role focuses on ensuring patient and staff safety by preventing and controlling hospital-associated infections. The Infection Prevention RN will support the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Infection Prevention Program in collaboration with hospital leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct infection surveillance using specialized software and report findings to clinical and administrative teams

• Assist with outbreak investigations and development of action plans

• Educate staff, patients, and families on infection prevention protocols

• Review policies, patient care products, and construction projects for infection control implications

• Monitor compliance with evidence-based practices and recommend improvements

• Collaborate with Occupational Health on exposure investigations and regulatory reporting

• Participate in relevant hospital committees and ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Massachusetts

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Infection Prevention RN in an acute care hospital preferred. 

• CIC certification preferred
